Meet Our Team
I’m Amanda Ross a Holistic Health Practitioner and Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach with over 20 years of experience in healthcare, integrative wellness, and client-centered support. My work focuses on helping individuals restore balance and vitality by addressing the root causes of stress, lifestyle imbalance, and overall well-being physically, mentally, and emotionally.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Allied Health with a concentration in Alternative Medicine. as well as an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN), and I am certified through the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching (NBC-HWC). My background bridges traditional medical care and holistic healing, including experience in medical-surgical nursing, integrative health, lifestyle medicine, and mind-body approaches to wellness.
Through personalized virtual sessions, I support clients in areas such as stress management, burnout recovery, alcohol moderation, and life transitions. My approach may include mindfulness practices, nervous system regulation, lifestyle and nutrition guidance, and optional spiritual exploration always tailored to your individual goals and values.
Sessions are available weekly, biweekly, or monthly, both virtually and in person at the Melbourne office (Orlando location coming soon).
My goal is to help you reconnect with your body, restore balance, and move forward with clarity, confidence, and sustainable well-being.
Dr. Ross brings over two decades of clinical experience to his role as supervising physician at Dr. Ross Family Counseling. He earned his medical degree from Quillen College of Medicine in 2000, completed a surgical internship at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, and finished his Family Practice residency at ETSU/Kingsport in 2003.
He has worked extensively in emergency medicine and held leadership roles as a medical director in hospital settings. His experience and commitment to quality care ensure our counseling and lifestyle services are supported by sound clinical guidance.
I’m a licensed therapist with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling / Social Work / Psychology from the University of Central Florida (UCF). I specialize in helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges with a focus on anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, anger management, and more.
I work with children, adolescents, and adults to develop healthy coping strategies, improve emotional regulation, and build long-term resilience. Whether you’re dealing with life transitions, family stressors, or persistent mental health concerns, I provide support through evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to your unique needs.
My approach is compassionate, client-centered, and rooted in creating a warm, non-judgmental environment where you can feel safe to explore your thoughts, emotions, and goals. I believe meaningful change begins with a trusting relationship and a space to be fully heard and supported.
